i have never had a problem with standard primers and 4350 but I will admit to never having tried magnum primers. I would be more interested in accuracy than speed. Either is surely going fast enough for my purposes.

You might want to include a few yo-yos (automatic fishing reels) You can catch supper while you gather fire wood and tomorrows lunch while you sleep. Williams makes a peep sight that mounts in the back holes for the scope mount. I mounted a lyman tang sight on mine instead. My old eyes need all the sight radius they can get. It shoots great.

I shoot the Lee 150 grain fp with a Hornady gas check cast from oven hardened wheel weight alloy. Lube is molly bearing greese and beeswax,
powder is 36.5 grains of H4350, mixed brass. Very accurate in all 3 of my rifles.

The Julian calender they were using at the time of his birth had a Feb 29 every 4 years. The corrected Gregorian calender dropped the addition on "century years" that were not also divisible by 400. (1900 was not a leap year 2000 was.)
