I read a guy pushing a ball out with just a primer, might have to try that.

As much as I didn't like those .310's i think they shot better out of my rifle, ha. The .312's did ok close up but at 50 yards kinda tend to spread out more than the other. I'm using beeswax. On this batch I've seated the ball flush with the case mouth. I wipe it out where there is about a 1/16" of wax around where the ball and case meet. On the first and next batch I can't do that though... Gotta seat proud - .310 vs .312's so I just rub the beeswax on the ball. ...

Has any anyone put tea light candles out with a bit of water before? I stopped doing that after the second time the wee little candle turned into a firey torch about 3 feet high, not kidding. I tried to make it do that a few times after and never could. Scary for sure and makes me second guess h2o w...

Just got back from my little range..
I generally only load 1.5 grs per case so a little goes a long way. I'd say about 1/3 of that little tin for 25 shots this morning. Leaving to hit the candy store as I'm texting. Hopefully there is something I like in the container I choose.

Lol, was just thinking that same thing 10 minutes ago.. needed a taller container to keep my decapping pin with the ram prime. Just finished popping and priming. Put a bunch of paper towel around the sides and bottom (top too) inside of my tin.. it'll do for today. Off I go!

I'll prime my cases at the cabin, then load them with different charges when I'm out there, depending on what I'm trying to accomplish at the time. Ive been using this excel mint ...

I mentioned fireforming only because it seems I wouldn't need as much stuff to do it... Blow out the case, add powder and bullet, and shoot. I would inspect the cases of course and not use any that were, not the same as the others, kind of thing. They would for sure only be used in the one rifle so ...

Raining today so I got to looking at the brass I've been using for my sub rb loads. Noticed rings around all of them... Is this bad? w30wcf, I was thinking about doing the slight crimp also, but thought it might do weird pressure things so I decided against it.. I flare the case mouth with a couple taps of a small hammer onto a duct tape centered punch, so when I chamber them they kind of have to be squeezed the last half inch in...
