i have a fellow that want to sell me a marlin 1893 in 30/30 he said the bbl is octagon and it is 25.5 long serial dates to 1904 [2893xx] i never saw it yet it might be a rag or nice but he is asking 625.00 for it and he is firm on it . what do ya think . i will keep ya posted on it and if i get it a...

while travling on a work trip to texas i found a gun shop they had a winchester 1892 in 32-20 cal wood is in great shape [couple of fixes]and the o/s bbl looks good reciver is nice the serial is a bout a 1896 production his is aksing 1250.00 for it but might work a little and will ship if sold . cal...

well i did it , but i couldn't find a new one around here but when calling for prices one shop owner told me he had a used one 1999 cbII 24" bbl
for around 495.00 well.......
new one 655. old one 500. you do the math
i got it home sweet
can now see what you marlin loco's mean

wow , ok so i will put a marlin on order they said 658.20$ for the cb is that about right or can it be had cheaper ?[local dealer] 27 replies and only one person spoke of the henry customer service highly. don't anybody like henry ????? i guess the shiney brass attracted me like a pack rat ............

i have a chance to get a new lever action my two choices are marlin 357 cb [1894cb] or a henry bigboy 357[hnh006m] the price is about a 10.00$ bill difference the caliber is set 38/357 so that is not an option and i can only afford one ........ which one ? some gun info i all ready got marlins in th...

before going up one whole tap size, as they said try brownells they sell a o/s tap in the same size with screws and it is a couple of thousands larger
the bare eye can barely see the difference.

or just move up to the larger size.
