Wow, you are a geneartion too old for craftsmanship like that. Kinda wish we didn't have that invisible fence between us. My little 92 would really shine after a treatment like that!! I don't really notice the difference until one sees it the way it should be done.

Strengths of various actions?
What lever actions would handle a 303 Brit cartidge? I suppose anything that would be chambered for 30-40 Krag.
I know the 95 Winchester came in 303 but I was thinking of a standard lever like a Winchester tube feed. The 303 specs out at a shade over 3" and pressures in the 30-40 range.

Tang style sight mounted on comb?
I've seen pictures of tang style sights mounted on the comb at the rear of the grip area. They are often onSavage levers and Sixgun posted a picture of one on a takedown 95 once. It might solve a problem I have for a light kicking 32-20.

Thanks a bunch. I'm researching stocking one powder for my 444 and 32-20. Top velocity is not required for the 32-20 but good accuracy is. 4198 is excellent in the 444 and I'm hoping the powder will give good full case mid power 32-20 performance.
