Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect

I'll probably starve to death, but I don't care. Least I won't be here. Most of the 15 guys that's ahead of me in se...

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect

Yeah this place runs like the government, so "doing a good job" means nothing. And working hard works against you. I've been running out the clock for 10 years now. I'm number 16 in the plant for seniority. A couple years ago, I got a copy of all my employee records. That way they can't go...

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect

I got a leg up by doing that term paper on Orwell my junior year in high school. It was an eye opener. I always try and observe things with an open mind. I may not always succeed, but I try. Plus, I've had a job where I could think. Maybe I should have paid work more attention, but I still do more a...

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect

During Korea they still used MBs and GPWs. There were tons left from the war. I call Korea the "surplus war", cause that's what we fought it with. Even the K-rations. They went to the M38 soon after. The M38 was the equivalent of the CJ3A. Quickest way to tell is it doesn't have a split wi...

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect

Haha! Me? Big words? At the factory, they sometimes put dielectric grease on some connectors (it's a light grease that conducts electricity and looks like Vaseline). Over time it can dissipate, or was never put on. Then, moisture, dirt, or corrosion can interrupt or add resistance to the connection....

Yeah haha. There ain't a lot of cash money in Athens.

Your Jeep gets a lot of short trips, plus it's humid. Od check the connection and hit it with a little dielectric grease. Without a real high dollar analyzer, it's hard to say if it's actually bad.
