Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect (continued)
That's a fresh one Walt. I would think the Pine Martens would eat the reds right along with the Grey's, but who knows? Got some work done at camp on Tuesday. Got a spot all cleared for the tractor and wood shed. My sinuses were a mess yesterday and I felt like stuff, but i still managed to haul the ...

Re: At what point do you not shoot a levergun?
Your 38-55 is an excellent early 1894. I have several 38-55 's and it is one of my favorite chamberings. If it was a mediocre shooter, and you had another example that shot better, I could see shelving it. However, since it shoots exceptionally well, it would be a sin NOT to shoot it. As long as you...

Yeah I can imagine fiddleheads would be scarce in your part of the country Walt! Even here, they grow in certain conditions only. Sorry for the squirrel drought GK. We have pine martens here. They are a shy critter, and not seen often during woods travel. Fisher are more commonly encountered by eye,...

Went and got some fiddleheads today. Dad did awesome and kept right up with the picking. I was worried we wouldn't get any cause we've had some pretty serious frosts up through last week. I will probably put a Seat Concepts seat on the TW at some point, but I will keep the stocker on the DRZ most likely. Hit the range today with some .357s. Other than crazy windy, it was a nice little 30 mile ride. I have to get my backside toughened up again! The seat is narrow and hard, but that is how its supposed to be on a dirt bike.
