Nice work! That looks great. I thought I was the only one that liked the mag tube to hold 5. I have two 94src's with half mags in 38-55. It bugs the stuff outa me.

There is also a detent plunger on the actions floorplate that faces back towards the trigger. If you look at Hagler's picture you can just about see it on the left side middle of the photo. If this is not engaging or is missing it will cause what you describe.

Sounds like you made a couple good trades. I have a 92 Browning .44 and can tell you they are great shooters. Mine does have a 66 Lyman on it though.

I was thinking it was a model 15 also. If you can get it working it still has the potential of being a good shooter. Sometimes having something you don't have to worry about makes it more fun. Good truck gun, etc.

I'm happy with the results overall. Seeing as i was shooting from a rickety bench in the back of the truck. And the fact that including the purchase price of the rifle, I've got about 400 bucks in the whole thing. I had the scope and Aimpoint already.

I too use the Dillon swager and it works great. That said I have only used it on large primer pockets, mostly 45ACP. I don't own a 223 anymore but when i did i used the drill bit method with pretty good results.
