I've seen a lot of these tests and comparisons and while they can be fairly done I don't know as they really give any bankable results. Every weapon and condition is unique. There is no question that the AR/M16/M4 is vastly improved over it's earlier versions. It is very accurate and reliable and a ...

I'm interested in this new pistol also. The only Glock I own is a 21SF. I like this pistol a lot, it fits and shoots very well but is just too thick to carry comfortably. it spends 90% of it's time on nightstand duty with a TLR-1 attached. I carry my Lightweight Commander because it carries so well ...

Hondo, I have found that the shorter magazine carbines tent to be more accurate with less hanging on the barrel. The ones I have seen all had the mag cap yours does. Re: Question about Nickel steel barrels on old Winchester 94

Another posssibility is a factory re-barrel. I have seen several old rifles that were returned to the factory and re-barreled. If the barrel is 24'' and is a rapid taper it could be a model 64 barrel that was installed and stamped as a model 94. If this is the case it will be double proofed on top o...

There is also a detent plunger on the actions floorplate that faces back towards the trigger. If you look at Hagler's picture you can just about see it on the left side middle of the photo. If this is not engaging or is missing it will cause what you describe.

I have done several of those with 336's and 94's. They handle great for thick woods or in and out of a vehicle. If you use iron sights you will NEED a receiver sight as the reduced sight radius makes them tough to shoot. If I did another I probably would go to 18" instead. Oh, and I always put ...
