the loading spring screw needs tightened the small screw to the rear of the port, do not over tighten it will break

have had a carry permit here in WV for almost 23 years, this ols security six has been my carry piece for the past 11. On my belt or no more than arms length away 24/7/365 its very important to me!

range day
finally got the new rifle to the range. zeroed right in couple 3 shot groups around 1/4 inch. finished up 20 quick rounds feeds and functions fine.

Has anyone blued a 9422? I'm wondering about the reciever, sure looks like the finish on the post 64 94s. will it take a proper blue or will I have to finish it with something else? When doing a post 64 94 I parkerize the receiver blue the rest.

I just picked up a 92 in 25-20 I've had several others 94 marlins and a 23 savage used a 60 grain hornady over 5 grains of universal clays for about 1600, did'nt tear them up any more than a minimag hollow point in long rifle. You might want to check your game laws, legal here in WV I don't believe ...

After 30 years of looking finally found a 99 Savage in 250-300, made in 1949. Have seen a lot in 300 308 243 etc. never a clean one in 250. Must get dies, brass bullets try to get it going for deer season.

My cut down 94, zeroed with my 150gr sierra hunting load it will shoot to point of aim to 25yds with a 76gr round ball load. Big game, small game, home defense it will do it all.

got out today shot 3 different loads at 25 yards staying at 1/2 inch or better. jugled the charge a bit all three shoot pretty much same spot. now will chronograph to see if the fps is what i'm looking for. if this rifle had a foolproof rear and a bead front i'm sure it would do 1 hole groups at 25 ...

well i loaded up a few rounds with 4.5gr unique lasercast 115gr .313 diameter, will try them monday, never go to the public range on weekends too dangerous! also got some hunters supply 76gr might try to make up a squirrel load.

These are my working guns. 39A-22, 94 357, 336 30wcf. All parkerized, have fool proof sights with fiber optics in the front. The second picture is my everyday carry gun. A man down the road passed away a while back and his wife is selling some guns. She has an 1895 Winchester 28 inch barrel 30-40 Krag. The gun is in almost new condition. Serial number puts it at 1905. Any ideas on roughly what it would be worth?
