Re: OT - Other Hobbies.

For 26 years my other hobbies were motorcycle riding (dirt [Huskys mostly] and street [Harleys mostly]) and flying (company club with 150, 172, 177 RG [ugh], 182, and 180 [my favorite]) but as I got older and the kids got more expensive both hobbies faded. Re: New Addition Just Arrived!

Thanks, I rubbed in some oil into the rifle's stock a week or two ago and it really brought out the grain. I'm planning on the same thing with my carbine when I take it down to do the action job. It looks like it has a nice grain to it too. I'm not claiming that these are show pieces or 'as good as'...

I've only been at it for a bit over 8 years but I've reloaded just over 110,000 rds in total. I was shooting 40s&w and 45acp quite a lot for the first few years and then added 10mm and 30 carbine. As I got heavy into AR15s about 4 years ago, I decided that it was time to upgrade my press so I so...

Re: NEWSFLASH: Rossi Introduces 34 Model 92's as "NEW"

Addressing the Quality issue raised, it's overall a reasonably priced decent rifle. It's popular with the CAS crowd and they work them hard with high round counts so it must be fairly rugged. I've only got about 900rds through mine so far but it works just fine. It isn't museum quality and the wood ...

The best thing about these loads are that there isn't any sign of overpressure in my 38spl cases nor any sign of primer flattening at all (which surprised me). I started loading them at the normal Cowboy Action Shooter's recommended 1.500" OAL to ensure good feeding in my levergun and the std d...

Well, horizontal stringing is many times a breathing issue and sometimes are caused by a bit of canting of the rifle, not uniform from shot to shot.issue.

Re: 357mag...125gr JSP...Levergun

I shoot Zero 158grn JSP in both 38spl+P loads too. I like the performance of the bullet over the lighter ones as I feel that the heavier bullets carry better because of their higher BC (however mediocre it is in a pistol bullet). Anyway, here are the chrono results of a 38spl load I use exclusively ...
