Cheap and Efficient Brass/Ammo Kegs

I've mentioned that I store my brass and excess ammo in plastic kegs. The larger ones originally held pretzels, medium ones held trail mix, and the small ones held dog treats. They are very efficient for storing brass and excess ammo that won't fit in the ammo cans as they clearly indicate how much ...

I think it's more the logic of the original wording, "as rated by manufacturer." that they are hanging on. If you're the 'manufacturer' they figure it's up to you to go to the trouble to demonstrate it. Besides, why would a government organization make work for itself? They're 'here to hel...

As I said, we have large mule deer (I have 4 in my back yard right now down for what looks like the night) and large elk and moose that are usually taken at longer range due to the topography of the hunting areas in the state. The whole argument for suing a .44 Mag or .45 Colt for deer hunting is interesting, however, in my opinion it's pretty much an eastern half of the US argument. Yes, our range is private so our board makes up the rules and we luckily don't have any of those money gouging ones you see at 'for profit' ranges that I avoid. Also, I've got some favorite shooting spots in both the Rockies and out in the prairie where I always pack out anything I bring in.

Well, they make a Rossi 1892 in 454 Casull with a SAAMI spec pressure of 50,000 CUP so I'm thinking that .45 Colt Ruger will be a piece of cake for it. Seriously, the Model 92's action design is super strong and it will do fine with a Ruger only load.
