Sight height ratios?
Is there a way to calculate the optimal height for a front sight from the height of the rear sight? I'm thinking there should be some calculation that would work kind of like how any M16/AR can be "mechanically zeroed" with a specific post/adjustment based on the rear sight mounted...

That Savage looks like a particularly useful variant... much more so than the .22/.410. I think somthing like that in .45/20b CAPLOCK would be pretty useful too...

My primary carry is an SP101. My duty gun is a G17. I have a G19, but I keep a .22 upper on it for cheap trigger-time... So, no, I don't carry an SA revolver, but I do prefer to carry a revolver for defensive purposes...

I've wanted a big cat ever since I was a kid and our DFW agent neighbor brought home/kept a confiscated, declawed bobcat. I've trained squirrels to be hand-feeding tame. A 'Coon could be fun though.

Also, most of the talking heads live in Urban areas with absurd and obscene anti-gun/gun registration laws. You can't imagine how hard it has been for me to convince some of these Michiganders now living in Wyoming that they do NOT have to "register" their handguns with the local Sherriff...

Given the choice (and I have the choice), I prefer 16. Shoots like a 20, hits like a 12. Now, given the TEOTWAWKI scenerio theorized, then, unless I had a BUNCH of primers for a bunch of 16ga brass hulls, I'd say 12ga because it is ubiquitous as a combat gun in Govt and will always have more OEM amm...

I like soon 2 retire 's answer. I always thought someone could make a double-barrel breakopen with chamber/barrel inserts that would allow a huge variety of choices. How COOL to have a 12 gauge beside a .45-70 on Monday, a 12 gauge beside a .32-20 on Tuesday, and a .308 beside a .22 LR on Wednesday...

If I can't have that I'd probably stick wth my B92 in .357 or a 62a Winchester...with a suppressor. :lol: Ans since a 92 in .357 is far easier to suppress... it's not a bad choice. Don's basicly correct on the particulars. WMCI is to primairly be a Medium/Minimum Custody facility, though because it will have a nearly complete in-house medical facility (including Geriatric, OBGYN, Mental Health, Dialysis(?) etc. Pretty much everything short of surgery.) we will be getting Max/C...

I just watched it again. After it was over I punched up the commentary. At the end of the credits they sort of hinted they're considering a sequel. If they do make one, it should be very interesting.
