Of course! Don't you know that it is not politically correct when Doctors save lives? Why should someone with extra schooling and training be the ones to make those decisions. Group decisions without any information or training on the topic are always best. That is why we must listen to the people o...

Turn off everything, and switch the ignition on, then off twice, then start it and let it warm up. That puts it in learn mode for Toyota vehicles, and it should adjust the idle speed. I had to do that after changing the battery in my Camry. It was idling at 500 RPM and kept dieing on me. It now idle...

First, get your eyes checked. You might need glasses. Second, a reflex sight or some type of red dot has been available for rifles for years. I have a red dot on a .30-30 and it is just fine. I have trouble with red color because I see more colors than is normal, but mine will switch to green. For 1...

I agree with you. The AR can be set up for thumper size cartridges, as well as mid range power levels. OK, so it is not elephant gun power level, but it is certainly up to and including bear power level. I wouldn't be afraid to take a .50 Beowulf or a .458 Socom AR 15 to Alaska. They are close to .4...

Not many deer around here that big. I have used 30-06 on Red Stag once in Poland, and it was plenty. That was a Rem 700 30-06 using 180 grain Nosler Partitions. I have not hunted anything too big for that cartridge. I am looking forward to trying it.

During the heaviest fighting in Iraq, they withdrew WW2-manufactured .50 BMG from the war reserve stocks, because they were shooting up .50 (the most common turret gun for every vehicle) so fast. From what I remember reading, the 1945-made .50 BMG was still in excellent shape, with about 1 dud per b...

For thick woods, or areas where shots are 50 to 75 yards at most, I would think that the . 300 BO would be plenty for deer or most wild pigs. So what if is not a long range target round. I have put fiberoptic sights on a couple of my guns. If you can't see the sights, it is not really easy to hit what you are trying to aim at. Nothing wrong with good sights which are easy to see.
