Re: How Many Guns Should a Normal Person Have?

Streetstar is right. A handgun is necessary. A good .357 Magnum revolver is pretty close to a do all pistol. As I said above, special purpose calibers can be a real need. In Bear Country, I would think a .44 Magnum would be more effective. For some folks in Jackrabbit Country, a .22 LR or .22 Magnum...

Too many burn bans in effect around here. When it gets hot and dry here, it is easy to burn way more than you wanted to burn. I have a bunch of Barnes TSX bullets for a .223, and a pound of CFE 223. The .50 Beowulf uppers have earned a reputation for putting animals down in a hurry. The .50 AE should do about the same. Sort of makes me think of what a .50-40 Sharps special target load would be if they had ever been made. Maybe it could be the Little Big 50.

M2, screw in the barrel until it stops, back out 7 clicks. Pull charging handle until the square dimple is centered in the hole on the side. Use the Go/No Go gauge. Adjust 1 click at a time if necessary.

At least that is what I remember from my very limited training with Ma Deuce.
