In the right gun, .45 Colt can be mild to wild. I think we have all seen the proof of that. A .45 Colt in a Model 92 would be a great do-almost-everything out to 150 yard carbine.

After a little experimentation, I now only use magnum primers with H110. My results with non-magnum primers were the same as yours. I have used N110 with satisfactory results. Being a stick powder, it has different properties from H110. It works pretty good in moderate level loads, whereas I get best results with H110 only in the upper end of the power level.

At 56, there are still quite a few who are older than me. Living past 80 is pretty good. Hope Paco stays healthy for a bunch more years. His books and articles have taught me a bunch.
