Working at an independent Pharmacy now. Love it. We are contracted with a couple of pain management Doctors. Doctor G is pretty good about keeping his patients where they can function. Extreme pain makes it hard to think, focus, or even do much else.

My Wife did well with the M16A1 in basic. She prefers the AR15 in 300 BO to the 30-30. Not a lot of real world difference.

I know it is sort of a clone to the CZ75, and similar to the P35 Hi Power. It feels great in my hand, and I am trying to find a reason to not get one. Around $500 in the Atwoods near me.

At the Dallas Safari Club show last Friday, I was told at the Freedom Arms booth that shooting a .38 Special in a .357 Mag chamber would cause rust in the chamber and ruin the cylinder. Has anyone on here ever experienced that?

A few fears ago, 86er was messing with a 44 Special for hunting. I do not recall what loads he was using, nor what his conclusions were. I wonder how the Ruger GP100 5 shot 44 Special handles. It looks a bit meatier than some. As far as damage from getting shot, I do not want to find out.

I have accidentally loaded a .30-30 in the 32 WS. Accuracy is not any good at all. 50 yards and missed the target completely 3 out of 5. Figured it out and right back to tiny little groups.

Friends out in Ennis, TX have a bunch of yotes around. Born in that month between the end of Boomers and Xers. Some of the Xers are not bad folks. Gen Y, Millenials, and whatever the kids just hitting 21 are in for a rough life. Too many of them have been babied for too long. Their education was abysmal.

I load the .327 with 115 grain flat points meant for the .32-20. H110 and they are accurate and fun.

45 Colt in the 800 to 850 fps range is pretty pleasant to shoot. Those 230 grain bullets punch deep enough that I sure don't want to be hit with one. I tend toward Hodgdon powders as they are more common in my area.

I was never a big fan of 9mm or 5.56, but it doesn't hurt to have something to shoot them. I found a few primers and some powder at my local Academy Sports and Outdoors. I try to shoot as often as I can.

Ruger gas operated. 23.5 grains H110 and a WLP primer under a 240 grain jhp. Lighter loads do not cycle the action as well as I like. Winchester White box works. I learned to avoid the cheaper stuff. It doesn't always work even for practice. The pigs have never complained.
