Hill People Gear has a great light mount for lever guns but sadly they have been out of stock for almost year with no "in stock" date available.

Re: Roe vs Wade: Life gets some support finally!
As proper as the Roe and the 2A decisions are, these will be Bidens onus to pack the Supreme Court and you can bet they will alter these decisions. Some one has to die or quit for him to put anyone on the court. And with luck he only has a couple of years left. Actually not. They can add to the num...

I have used the 158/180 grain (357 mag) and the 300 grain in 45 colt pushed to magnum power. All held together quite well and performed supremely well on deer and black bear.
All fired from leverguns.

Ive had good luck in the past using 110 soft points on varmints in 308. I load them down to about 1800 fps, they might still be too much for squirrels and rabbits that are going to be food. Id think a 90-110 grain FMJ or BTHP loaded as slow as he could get them to accurately shoot would work. When i...

Weight of the projectile multiplied by its velocity. That number is then divided by 7000 (number of grains in a pound).
I found it in Paco's article of max loaded 45 colt information for the model 92 action

I was bored yesterday while laying in my hospital recovery bed (Im fine btw). So, using the Killing Power math that Paco used in his 45 Colt article I ran thru some of my common hunting loads. I have been one of those who whimpered about the poor accuracy of 180 grain bullets in a Rossi levergun. I have a very nice 180 grain LBT mould which throws 2 gas-check and 2 plain-base bullets that has produced thousands of bullets for my Ruger GP100 (mostly using the plain based ones) and I was l...

Wvfarrier thats interesting to know. Thats the 38 special designed bullet, expands down to 850fps or so. Never tried it at carbine speeds as I thought it would be frangible. I load it to 357 mag "light". About half way between 38+p and full magnum, creates a very accurate load with almost...

Scott, while not quite as hot as Paco's loads, I am running a max (Ruger Only) load in my Rossi 92 and its been great. I had to add a recoil pad, the steel buttplate was kicking my butt. Its very accurate and the recoil is on par with a 45-70. I am primarily using a 300 grain HCGC. This load will pe...
