Why aren't there more of them? It seems that in today's "tacticool" world they would be a hit with the non - AR folks. I personally would love a mag fed marlin in 308 or 30-06 or hell 300 winmag. That that's a combat gun!!

WD-40 works great but keep it away from the mag. It will penetration the bullets and mess with powder.

Listen well to me doubters. I served in combat on more than one occasion in more than one location. Many decisions that seem bad later made sense in the line of fire. It's not about war or politics....it's about doing what's right for you chalk (squad/team)..it's about the man fighting at your side....

I have a new model Blackhawk 44 special as well and it is darn near accurate enough for bullseye competition. It really likes the underwood ammo 200 grain fmj's. Will put all 6 into 3" circle at 25 yards and is capable of better with the right shooter.

Preaching to the choir brother. I was mystified by that as well. And worse yet it is only about 24 inches deep. The frost line here is closer to 30 inches. The glue keeps freezing so I am gonna try compression collars

Well, it's -20 outside and my main water line burst over night. It runs along my driveway and the drive has a 3 " thick sheet of ice over it now......awesome. So now I have built fires on the ground next to my house to soften the ground enough to dig into (good times). Today is gonna suck.

The wife and kids wanted to go see it for Christmas so I buckled and took them. The movie was fantastic. I was blown away by the action and it had just enough cgi to keep you fixated. Well worth seeing. If you know the story then you'll really like the movie

One important thing to remember in a knife fight is that YOU are going to get cut. It's dan near impossible to avoid. I dusted a nice deer this year with my 357 marlin. Buffalo bore and double tap make great hard hitting ammo if you don't reload. I like the ranch dog 195 grain hard cast or the 180 grain xtp's.
