I once did an editing job for a college prof and discovered he didn't have any actual US money to pay me for the work. BUT (Mike's big butt) he DID have an Iver Johnson "Champion" .410 that had some of the nicest case coloring I've ever seen on any gun plus a pristine stock and bore, and a...

Well, I guess you guys about said it all on .410s and I don't disagree with any of this. Thinking about it, I think I don't NEED a lever action .410 (actually my T-C G2 carbine w/its custom 26" .410 barrel IS a lever action!). But what's NEED got to do with it for most of us? (Terry Wieland's a...

I'd like to know if any of you have a lever action repeating .410 (not an Ithaca single shot) and what you think of it. I recently handled a Henry with the long shotgun-style barrel and sights. It wasn't cheap (but I am) and I wondered why someone would buy one (although I love both .410s and leverg...

Back in the 1970s a rancher friend of mine had a gray fox kit that a logger had rescued from a hollow tree that he felled in the woods in Shasta County CA. Those oversized Roper-style target grips make the revolver LOOK a little fat. But like a Colt Bisley, the payoff is in how they FEEL when you are shooting one-handed slow fire standing up on your hind legs!
