Re: I gave the grandkids a Crickett .22 - PICS
That the best thing we can do for our kids is to show them the fun and right way to own a weapon. By doing this you will not have to read about them finding ammo and being afraid. Great job Grandpa you are keeping the ways passed on to them I salute you.

Re: J Stevens 32 long rimfire
I don't think the long colt will fit in the chamber. I tried 32 long colt and the case was a couple of hundreds out. But my weapon has not been fired a lot the action is super tight so that may be why it would not fit.

Go to show you that great weapon can still be got at a price that does not kill the bank. All kinds of weapons find there way home with me when I stop at my weapons shop. Drives the wife crazy but what deals is what I tell her. Woman like shoes and never have enough, so its weapons and old clocks fo...

If you are firing reloads has the brass been resize to the right size? Or has the barrel been removed or replaced?

Now that weapon is a thing of beauty as long as you keep your powder dry. Is there much delay when firing it?

Re: Pictures of J Stevens 32 long rimfire model 1915
I have decided to keep it as it was. Will make reloads that I found out about and just let it grow old for my grandkid's. I never like to mess with perfection. The research I have said they made about a million copies so I have a one in a million. Yes I'm sure it would be a nice weapon in 22 caliber...

Re: Civil War Knuckle Duster
I like the weapon. Can you get a mainspring made to make it more reliable when shooting? The old weapon have style and class that you don't see anymore. One shot, one kill is all you need. I like to waste bullets too, but nothing beats that one perfectly placed shot to take out the target. Today kid...

Sea containers make great camps and when your a sleep inside stray bullets have a hard time getting you. Here in Florida the camps can get wild at night with weapons fire. So I always sand bag my position when camping.

Thank you all for the help on this. Can not wait to get started shooting this sweet gun. Now if we could get powder to reload with that not going to take six months to get from the date of purchase.

J Stevens 32 long rimfire
Well to day I got a weapon that I know is probably going to be a wall hanger. But it never hurts to ask where one may get some ammo for this beauty. I know that 32 long rim fire is not made anymore but so are Ford Model A cars to but if you find one in good condition you buy it. So yes I have search...
