I don't think the long colt will fit in the chamber. I tried 32 long colt and the case was a couple of hundreds out. But my weapon has not been fired a lot the action is super tight so that may be why it would not fit.

If you are firing reloads has the brass been resize to the right size? Or has the barrel been removed or replaced?

Sea containers make great camps and when your a sleep inside stray bullets have a hard time getting you. Here in Florida the camps can get wild at night with weapons fire. So I always sand bag my position when camping.
