Its definitely a Kuharsky mount probably made for B+L I am guessing but dont know much about these rifles except what I have read. I read how much these setups cost back in the day and very expensive.

Exactly what does it take to rebarrel a 99C in 308 to 338 fed ? Cost and who can do the work time etc.

In a web search I saw the mention of 99 prefit barrels, but I can find none now.

If its not that much more, I would prefer to rebarrel it opposed to rebore.

Any body ever change a barrel on a Browning BLR ?? Or have one changed by a gunsmith. We have one in 243.
