Just "Sky Busting" them. Great info. They have been coming down off a field all week till today...Now there way up there etc. Been trying to call them down with no luck. I'm aiming at the head are with my swing. Guessing they are still to high. They were about 40-50 Yards up till today. Ugg!

Ok, I have hunted Pheasants and love it. Now, I here trying Canadian Geese. Need some advise. What is an optimal distance for a good shot and how much lead do or should I expect to use? Using an O/U 12Guage with 3" Shells. Thanks. Oh, BBB Steel shot.

Had the same problem. First item on the agenda was to replace all the batteries. While the unit was down, i took them to the garage and gently blew compressed air through them. After numerous episodes this helped out tremendously.

So I finally got my NIB Browning 1886 out for a shake down for the first time. Loaded up some BHA Brass with CCI Primers behind 300 Grain Oregon Trail with 35 Grains of IMR-4198. I got tired of looking for New 45-70 Brass and resorted to Once Fired Brass on GB. Got a Good supply now of Excellent Brass. Now to the question of New Brass.... Yes it starting to come on the market again and very slowly. .444 Marlin Cases seem to be in short supply although.

Chicago Cutlery makes or use to make a leather sheathed filet knife. Can still pick one up on EPlay every now and then. I "Had" one and I'm still kicking myself over selling it. Good Knife set.

I keep mine in the air-tight plastic RCBS boxes, with a piece of VPI paper (vapor-phase inhibitor, you can get it from Brownell's). I change the paper every 3 years or so. I have been shopping for a set of dies as of late in several Calibers. Some on FleaBay that I have viewed are questionable due to rust, Is there a secret or practice to keep RUST at bay? WD-40, Rice, Silica, or what have you guy do?

I think it is an interesting question though. Sometimes a batch of brass or loaded rounds just seems brittle from the start. Absolutely, and I have some now. Brass may be Affordable or cheap to some, Just not me and it's scarce as Hen's teeth at the moment for many calibers which sheds a new light ...

I started annealing my cases when I noticed it took different amount of effort to seat bullets. Once I annealed them the effort to seat the bullets was very consistent.
