I'd choose whatever I could find ammo for. An exotic firearm with a strange caliber would quickly turn into a club. 9mm is very common. I'd choose that.

FWIW, my Rossi 38-357 eats and ejects any ammo I feed it. I've shot well over a thousand rounds through it without any problems. The Browning design is very robust and will tolerate a fair bit of manufacturing variance.....it has/had to....because in the 1890s manufactures had their own company stan...

Hello,
I own many different firearms from many different manufactures and I love the value I get from a Brazilian made gun. I have never had a problem with my Rossis or Taurus guns and think you get a lot of gun for the money. Just my 2 cents.

Hello, I would like to add: Check the slide stop/release lug for brass marks on the lobe that extends into/above the magazine and remove material if the lobe extends too far into the mag well. Check the bottom corner of the breach-face for sharp corners or burrs because this is where the slide first...
