I think the red tape will go away BUT I DON'T THINK IT WIL BE AS QUICK AS MOST PEOPLE SAY. When was the last time a politician volunteered to give up power over the people? The Supreme Court has Shown no interest in deciding these 2Acases since Bruen. Hope I am wrong only time will tell.

Re: SBR's , SBS' s silencers -- how many jumped on Jan 1 ?
I had two cans already and an SBR Marlin 1894 with 12 inch barrel, in the Lord's caliber. So I took the plunge as I was already on ALL THE LIST! I submitted on 01/01/2026 but couldn't get my fingerprints set off right away. ATF got the fingerprints on Wednesday so we will see as a buddy of mine also...

Hey all, it has been a while since I really posted things on this forum but I have been lurking some. I wasn’t really looking for any new guns. I thought a Henry 1860 repop would be good and I was positive if I got one(which I was pretty sure I wasn’t gonna do) it was going to be in 44wcf. I hadn’t ...

As Gunny said I have had several done by Bob Hoyt in Fairfield Pa. He does excellent work and is very reasonably priced, HOWEVER like most people that do an excellent job at a fair price he is sometimes backed up months. He has done liners for me, threaded barrels, bored out barrels (30-30 to 38-55 ...

I am not sure of the advertising aspect but, when my ancestors called a Henry, "that darn Yankee rifle you load on Sunday and shoot all week"; you know they thought it was an assault rifle. Ask native Americans and see what they think.

Mike Hunter restorations did my 50-100-450 conversion work. The carrier needs work (50-110 is longer so the carrier needs modified to accept it). The frame actually has to be modified to accept the longer cartridge going through the loading gate. WELL WORTH THE EFFORT IN MY OPINION.

This was Rebored with a .375 reamer so I tried .376,377, and 378 but 377 was more consistent. I actually enjoy the Marlin the most as I use 10 grains of Unique in it and it is nice to shoot. Wind suggested that load to me.
