G'Day All, Have just acquired a 92 Win. in 32/20. The idea is to shoot classic lever at metal. The club only shoots these with the Rams at 100 metres. Thanks fellas, sure right about this forum, cannot get over all the replies and encouragement. Does the Marlin's rifling handle cast lead bullets OK, there is some talk around here that it doesn't, also that 357 is "iffy" at the 200 rams unless hit high. I shoot factory 30-30 on feral pigs...

I have recently joined a group that shoots lever actions in several displines, paper and metal silhouette,etc. The longest range will be 200 yards (rams). No scopes allowed, but peep and reciever sight are. Most shots will be offhand. I will be reloading using lead bullets. Most people are using 357...
