This is the kind of accuracy I would like to see. I've been looking (not urgently) for a .22 LR double action to replace my near-40 year old Taurus Model 94. I never could find any ammo that is shot well (the best was Federal "Lightning"). I'm in no hurry and looking for a deal, but would ...

Scott, that just doesn't seem like it should of happened to a properly bedded Laminate stock rifle. I think you should send Ruger a email with pictures attached. I know if Mr William Ruger were alive it would be fixed on them unless its a truck gun left in the Texas heat. I have had a Ruger 77 MKII...

I've only owned two Rugers, a Single Six and an OM .357. A buddy owned a new model Super. I never liked it. In my travels when visiting other cowboy clubs, I've shot quite a few borrowed BH & Vaqueros, but I usually refrain. As I just don't like the trigger and action of the NM. The width of th...

The Turning Point USA show was great! I haven't - and won't - watch a second of the game itself. My wife said she read that the national anthem was sung by a lesbian. As a small "l" libertarian, I don't really care, but certainly in the year of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, they could have...

What specifically do you want to know? Just looking for general opinions. If I got a .44 Magnum, I'd mostly shoot .44 Specials in it, but always like the flexibility. If I got a .45 Colt, I'd want the second .45 ACP cylinder for the same reason. I used to never have an issue with the square-backed ...

Ruger Blackhawk?
Guys, Scott's "Carrying a SAA" post got me thinking. I have three Ruger pre-1973 Blackhawks (okay, one is a Super Blackhawk) - or I did before the terrible boating accident a few years back. I haven't fired a "New Model" (what, 53 years old this year!) since the late 1980's, and ...

I'd go with the 6" 10-shot model. Less reloading and more shooting. Cylinder is plenty strong enough for the .22 rimfire cartridge.

I certainly didn’t learn to handle a gun in the police academy. I can't say that I've ever heard any former LEO say they learned to handle a gun, or rather, handle one in a way they would rely on to save their life, from a police academy. If they weren't "gun guys" before (and many large ...

I have an Uberti Cattleman Sabre in .45 Colt that I picked up a .45 ACP cylinder for (and had it fitted). A lot of reporting on that, but the picture of the gun looks like a P229, not a P320. I don't think I have heard of the "self-firing" incidents with their hammer-fired guns.
It does look like it has a new Sig optic on it - and they run north of $500. The guy spent money on that setup.
