Any of the straight-walled pistol-caliber rounds above a .38 Special. Easy to handle, easy to load, and a lot of fun.

Re: Our third bus tour
We've planned all three of these around weather and school schedules. We don't have to worry about the latter, as we are empty nesters. But we want to avoid the crowds associated with schools being out during the summer. So two of the trips have been in late September/early October, and this one in ...

Very nice!
My Dad carried a S&W Model 19 with a 4-inch barrel, except when undercover, as revolvers were considered "cop guns" in the 1970's. He carried a 1911 when undercover.

Our third bus tour
Back in 2023 Mrs. YK and I took a bus tour centered around Yellowstone National Park. We started in Rapid City (SD), visiting the badlands, then headed west stopping at Mount Rushmore, the Crazy Hose Memorial, Devil's Tower, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and ending in Salt Lake City. It was spectacular...

Hi Jim. If you were looking for the same "feel" as your load above, but shooting 200-grain LRN-FP bullets, would you use the same 4.0 grain load of Bullseye? Yes. I have, but with a 230 gr. .45 ACP Roundnose bullet over 4.0 gr. Bullseye. Using that light of powder charge in the big Colt c...

Jay, I read that Leo McCarey took a day and a half to shoot this scene because every time Laughton started the Gettysburg Address, he could not keep from crying, moved by those tremendous words. Part of the solution was to place a camera just behind Laughton to focus on the faces of the bar patrons...

The 4 gr. Bullseye load is just real pleasant to shoot. Like shooting wadcutters in .38 Special. Accuracy is good from this gun. Have not tried it in other pistols yet. 20 Yards Hi Jim. If you were looking for the same "feel" as your load above, but shooting 200-grain LRN-FP bullets, woul...

"Ruggles of Red Gap" was my maternal grandfather's favorite movie. In the early 90's I found it on VHS, and bought it for him. You'd think I had given him a gold bar. He actually wrote me a thank you letter. My grandmother told me to hold onto it tight, as he seldom wrote personal letters....
