At the Lebanon, Pa. show over the weekend, there was a guy selling some sort of a weird looking shotgun with 3 barrels/mag.?......whatever they were......for $1200. Something like 15 shots.

I agree with Vance. In some areas of the country, you can pick and choose. If it was 5 or even 6 hundred and you really want it and there's not much in your area, go ahead and get it. I agree the 35 Rem. is more versatile than the 38-55.......and .....much easier to load for as the tolerences are very uniform.....just about anything you stick in it will shoot accurately......including cheap lead pistol bullets. I would go the extra mile and get a Ballard rifled Marlin or a Reming...
