Griff, Did Bob replace the internals in the clone? I am really impressed with the way it has held up through the many thousands. Sure shows the knowledge Bob has. You would think that the amount Colt charges for a SA, that they would be properly timed. A couple I have are, but most are not. Then aga...

Int. Info--Trapdoors--Sharps--Etc.
Check this out. These pics are out of a 1884 Meachams catalog. (reprint from about 25 years ago) Yes, there were octagon Springfields, although they were alternations. Check out the prices on the '74 side hammer Sharps. Sure would be nice to take a trip back and snag some of those babies and...

My explaination for my distrust of the Masons: This is how it is in my mind. Its not going to be pretty. No words I have heard in 30 years since this has happened will ever change my mind. The year was 1976. I was 22 and my older sister was 27. We are Roman Catholics and Italian. The family she marr...

That is exactly what I do with my 25-20's and 32-20's. I find the shortest group (some which are real short get tossed) and trim all to that length. Take into mind common sense here, like you said, you still want to be able to crimp, either roll or Lee FC. I too, use the 69 gr Lyman GC in my 25-20 f...

I bet they would work. I would anneal them first. In my 40-82, I use a 300 gr. gc bullet and it must have a big shank because a 41 mag gc won't fit so I use a .416 gc. Its really sloppy on the shank but when I run it through a .408 sizer, everything lines up perfect. Accurate ain't the word as this ...

I don't know much about Masons but I do know a few I don't care for. Just like people at our Roman Catholic Church. They drive up to the front of the church in their 40K Caddy and park where everyone has to walk around their car. I 100% know some who declare they don't drink and then are seen 30 mil...

Sixgun What does the Saeco 9.5 equal in BNH numbers? Nice setup, I'm a newby caster myself, boy there's a lot to learn, but it's fun. Handirifle, There is no real correlation between bnh and Saeco.
