It only happens with starline brass and no other brand. I did polish my expander and it still sticks so it's the starline brass not the equipment. I'm sorry I sound like I'm whinning and hurt some ones feelings. Thought maybe some one else had the same problem and could give some other perspective.

The big guns on navel ships used black and still may. I know a guy that used to work for Hogden powder company and he told me that the U.S. military is the biggest black powder customer they had.

I always thought that was a great looking rifle if it just didn't have that cross safety. I don't like the tang safeties either but they make a much better looking rifle overall.

I had the same problem as MM93 with my super blackhawk. Busted my finger on that square trigger guard every shot. I didn't like the looks but rubber Pachmyers made shooting it much more comfortable.

I picked up two bags of 32 Win Spl at the one gun shop that has reloading stuff last Friday. They were $26.00 each which isn't much more than I paid for the same amount before things got crazy. He had quit a selection of powder for these time too.

I have a 92 japchester in 44 mag. I've used Hornady 240 xtp bullets on deer. My loads were mid level loads and it dropped a deer in its tracks at seventy yards.

Just bought a couple hundred rounds of 357 from Starline have some 44 spl too. Hope I don't have that problem with mine. I have plenty of 44 spl in Winchester brass but am light on .357 mag and it's hard to find any right now.

Ed that's odd about the eggs. My dad grew up in Kentucky and he said his parents used eggs for barter in their community. No one had much money for anything but they bartered for things needed to live.
