Re: Custom hammer extensions for BL22, and Win, 94 ??

Yeah, does anyone do a make a trigger with the right angle extension incorporated or soldered/fit for "drop in fit" exuberance and joy? My 1906 '93 Marlin got one nicely done, sometime in the distant past. Directly behind the Garand receiver sight in the picture. http://i47.photobucket.co...

Custom hammer extensions for BL22, and Win, 94 ??

I bought a couple uncle mike's hammer extensions for my 2 leverguns, and had to fit and file for them to work, and am still not happy with them,
Does anyone have recomendations on where to buy high quality hammer extensions that have a factory fit and don't come loose?
Thanks, Paul

how full should your quiver of apertures be?

I just put a set if williams reciever firesights on my 30-30 win. 94, and they work great, Since i am new to peep sights, i was wondering how many different apertures one should have, One reason i am asking is because I have a O/U shotgun with invector chokes and have 14 choke tubes, and only use 5,...

Re: Front Sight Replacement?

I just put a Williams WGRS sight with the ghost ring insert on a Browning BLR. This is a backup sight. I was trying to bore sight it but it looks to me like the front blade may be too short. How can I tell if it needs to be replaced? I'll be taking the rifle to a gunsmith for some minor work so if ...

Re: Peeps for Hunting/Field Use

just installed the willians 5d firesight on my top eject 94, and it was the best thing i have ever done, factory setting for the windage was perfect, and only took one slight adjustment on the elevation to zero it in, Like you i have aging eyes (54), and these sights enabled me to shoot accurately a...

Re: Williams peep on a Winchester 94 issue

Installed the williams firesight sights last week, and i must say what a differance, the windage is perfect from the factory setting, the elevation needed 1 adjustment to score 2'' groups at 75 yards. I really like the firesight front sight, it acts like a dot scope, and easy to locate the target, i...

Re: Williams peep on a Winchester 94 issue

Talking lever guns with you guys is like discussing the bible with Jesus Christ, Thanks for all the great info, So I am ordering the William's receiver mount and leaning toward the front firesight, (since I really like a dot scope) also will order the filler gizmo for the existing ramp sight and ex...

Re: Williams peep on a Winchester 94 issue

Thanks for starting this thread for me Ray, Hey all, New guy here, here is my situation, :?: I went to the range to shoot my 1970 Winchester model 94 last week for the first time in 30 years, and the factory dovetail sights just don't cut it anymore, In a perfect world for me I would put a scout mou...
