I have two older non-Breech-Lock Challenger press that I use for hand gun ammo. I would add a third if I find an identical one for the right price. For rifle loading I use a RCBS Reloader Special.

I think over the years I have had better than a half dozen case head separations in 38 or 357 cases. These were always nickeled cases even though over half my cases are plain brass. And they were always in the rifle, never in the revolver even though by far most of my 38/357 shooting has been with ...

I believe that the .41 magnum was a .41 instead of a 10mm in order to avoided giving George Herter credit for the near identical cartridge that he was already producing some years earlier. The .401 Power Mag.

High Standard used the same barrel and magazine tube on both the pump and bolt guns.
My Dad's old full choke model 20 will will put Federal Foster slugs into one ragged hole at 40 yards.

Eight pumps is the recommended maximum. The pistol is also a Sheridan. You will have to watch Gun Broker. They are no longer made.

On a Sheridan we only had two choices, combustible cased H.E.A.T. round or Shillelagh guided missile which was also a H.E.A.T. round. The six inch bore would have made for an awesome beehive. Maybe they did make one later.

Dad always called a local trucker and had a couple of tons of coal dumped into the basement coal bin. Then I could spend all winter stoking the furnace and carrying ashes to dump in the alley.

I liked butter-rum but then out-grew it and shifted to citrus flavors. There was a drugstore in the county seat that sold all of the flavors as single flavor rolls. I usually chose a roll of lime.

Same here. I spent a couple of hours wiping the sticky off with a mineral spirits dampened cloth leaving the matt finished metal.
