Browned some filets and stuck the frying pan in the oven to finish cooking. Grabbed the handle of the frying pan (with bare hand and oven mitt on other) when removing from hot oven.

I bought a .500 Lee 2 cavity round ball mold for the same reason. Haven't got around to casting any yet. Was going to use some liquid alox or powder coat for lube. I've had three of them. Still have two. Very specialized units. My all day everyday carry for the better part of a decade here in Montana. Shot over 9,000 rnds of lower end .44 mags thru them. They don't hold up well to heavy use with 1,100 fps 240gr+ loads. Best weight to power ratio handgun avail....

Think you'll find the 45 ACP cyl useful and enjoyable. My 3 1/2" round butt Freedom Arms M97 doesn't see the 45 Colt cyl much at all any more.

Easily over looked in the verbiage above -- "Don't even know if this stabilizes". Bought these to try in my .357 Maximum but got sidetracked. One of these days will load some up in the 357 and shoot at 50 yds looking for "clean" holes.
