I had some "Marlin Jam": yesterday which i chronicled in another thread. I was using Blazer aluminum cased ammo, which is strictly forbidden in MarlinWorld though, but fine everywhere else (1894 gun , 44 mag, not a 444 336 gun)

Have watched a million western and rimfire and I agree on most. Sam Elliot and Kate Capshaw in "Quick and the Dead" is about my favorite. Ok, I admit Capshaw is about the sexiest woman I have ever seen, at least in this movie. Other than that the Searchers does it for me. All good though....

I. The Henry does have an Al receiver and I do not doubt that it will be junk within 50 years or so . The AR-15, among many other rifles , has an AL receiver which is subjected to much higher pressures than the little .22. Hey!!! Ya gotta look at the bright side. At least ya got a sandwich outa the deal. My F150 4x4 has just over 100,000 miles on it and it's still running good. However, there'll come a day when repairs will be needed. Depending on what they cost will determine whether I'll keep it or get another one....
