Howdy, The .30 cal flash hiders are threaded 5/8x24, so all you need to do is get it threaded.. 5/8 being .625, I don't think the slight undersize at the muzzle will hurt anything.. I don't believe I'd got with the 1/2" size, those are for .223 and the hole might be too small! Hope this helps.....

The numbers I mentioned are for the numbers you gave me, assuming a sight radius
of 17". Measure your sight radius, plug it into the formula.. Looks like you're on the right track..
Let us know the new 50 yd error, and the actual sight radius and we can figure the next move..

Hi 3LT, I put a 6X FX-3, 6x42, LR Duplex, #66820 on my M1A.. It seemed about right. I like the single power and the Long Range Duplex cross hairs 'cause they're a little thinner. FX has less internal parts and unless you overdo the power, IMHO, they are great. I put the same (almost) scope on a .308...

I went with the Marbles because of the windage adjustment...
I drilled and tapped the extra hole.....
I mount the Marbles peeps, with both the holes behind the upright, with only the rear screw on Marlins, but haven't tried that with the long base models..

Howdy NPH, I'm not sure what the problem is, but you'll need to get a front sight about .226" taller for 2' high at 50 yds.... Sight move=Error x Sight radius /1800 I'm assuming your SR is about 17", error is 24", distance to tgt=1800" (Plug in your actual numbers to get a closer...

I got one awhile back.. I really like it.. Shoots fine, fits great in my back pocket when I go out to the barn. Mags are a little spendy, but MidwayUSA has them from time to time, also try Cabelas..
I sold off some other .22 handguns, but kept this one...
