What gun should I use to harvest a yellow emu? Will a 6.5 Creedmore overpenetrate? Will a .22 rimfire work if I get a headshot? Is a 1911 .45 enough gun if I empty the mag in the ***? I recall years ago when the Bank of Boulder Colorado used to have a deal on a CD, you deposit something like $1500.00 or so (big money back then) take it out 7 years later and get a nice Weatherby rifle as your interest. Can you imagine the outcry from the snowflakes if they tried that now? :o

How about some food handlers gloves? The clear plastic ones you see people using in fast food restaurants, etc. Would those help you? That way you wouldn't be really touching the meat.

I have a Uberti 1873, 44-40. For cast bullet accuracy I need to load Oregon Trail .431 diameter bullets , makes the loaded round kind of hourglass-like. AFAIK, doesn't hurt a thing.

You will get more shooting accomplished with a .22, I recommend Marlin 39A first, Henry a close second. Winchesters are getting VERY expensive.

I still have mine, complete with unopened bottle of sauce. I drag it out every so often for show-and-tell. IIRC, the McIhenny corporation donated 500,000 of these to the GI's in Vietnam during the war. I dont recall ever seeing them in the cardboard tube with the p38's, etc, mine just came in a litt...
