I mounted one of those Taurus tang sights from Able's on my H001 last weekend and I'm VERY happy with it too. I can hit golf balls at 50 yards now pretty easily. What a beauty! I've used lots of aperature sights before, but this is the first tang I've used. Because it works so well, I'm mounting a M...

Well, one rebuild will be enough for me. I think mine is going to end up looking very similar to Salvo's trapper. I really like the look, and since this is a project gun, why not.

Thinking about it, Mr. Miller probably has the best plan, and it shouldn't be too many sheckles either. Whatever I do, I'll send it pretty soon. I've had it for about 6 months and I want to use it. Dang money is always a problem.

That's fine, I'm going to use the 4895 data. I've used that in my .260 with that same bullet and really anchored deer with it in the past. It should work just dandy for this one too.

Really appreciate the help

If you meant the .260 and not .380, it might be the .260 case is a larger capacity, and therefore pressure would be down.

Nonetheless, thank you so much, I appreciate it.

Fixing up a '94.

I have a 1962 Winchester Model 94 in .30-30 that needs some TLC. At some point in time, the front sight fell off and some enterprising home gunsmith re-silver soldered the base back on WWWAAAYYY off kilter, so even if you put a blade in it, you can't even use it. Add to the bad soldering job that he...
