Re: Broke my stock!
I broke 2 stocks on a tang safety 35 Whelen. After the second one I figured out that the front lug was slightly angled left to right like a sideways ramp. Under recoil it would drive hard into the side of the stock, eventually splitting it from front to back. The third stock features a lot of Devcon...

Pachmayr makes their slip-on Decelerator pad in 3 sizes, no idea what size the 92 would take. I've got one on my Guide Gun, it makes the heavy loads tolerable. They're available on Amazon.
There's also a gel type slip-on shotgun pad on Amazon that might be worth a look.

A now-departed friend was working undercover in Phoenix back in the '70's. Sitting in an unmarked car with the window down, some random miscreant (not associated with the case he was on) stuck his head in the window - right there face to face. Jim had a J in his lap and me stuck the muzzle in the gu...

I would guess that carbines only account for about 10% of 1895 production, with 1894 carbines being more than half of all built. There were also more than 10 times as many '94's as '95's produced. No idea on '92's but I wouldn't be surprised if it were similar in ratio to the '94.

I haven't had a Budweiser since the '80's. For some reason it was the official beer of the Marine Corps.
I rarely drink anymore, but when I do it's usually a Heineken or two with Modelo Especial a close second. When I was younger, working out in the heat made me crave a Tecate, from a can no less.

I found that 10x50 binoculars worked better than the spotting scope when that comet passed by, the big lens picked up too much ambient light and washed it out.
The spotting scope worked well the last time Saturn was really close (Sept '24?), could easily see the rings.
