JimT, THAT was interesting! Just swapped out the 100gr and 115gr JHPs for 124gr JHPs in 9mm. Always did prefer 180gr bullets in my 10mm short (40s&w) or should I say my 40/38 (38/40?) auto.

jeepnik, thanks for letting me know the Greens are protected. CCI had capsules for 22lr on up to 44spl. The 45acp's were bottleneck with a rollover crimp to hold in a plastic disc. Bill, you're right, rimfires had #12 with the centerfires loaded with #9 then they brought out #4s too some 10 years ago.

Come to think of it, my 1941 Win 70 would be perfect for a scout scope set-up IF only I could find one to fit! Holes drilled at the front of the receiver with a dovetail blank in the rear sight slot, 5 1/2" from middle of the dovetail to the rear screw with the screws 7/8" apart!
