As it happens, Aimsurplus has been getting some batches of Israeli hi powers in also for about 399. So... ..buy both and give a nod towards Utah. Everything will be alright. :D

Re: ZastavaCZ999 9mm pistol

I guess it will feel different to everyone but for me, I can't feel any difference between the zastava and the Sig 226.

Re: ZastavaCZ999 9mm pistol

What Wescoger said plus one. Picked one up a couple of weeks ago just before I went on vacation so haven't even had the chance to clean it up...but...they are a lot like the sig 226. I was expecting a slightly smaller pistol given they call it "compact". Even so it's much cheaper than the ...

My dad bought me my first gun from monkey wards, probably early 60's. A Mossberg 410 bolt action. Still have it. Probably hasn't been shot a dozen times and looks like it did the day it came out of the box.

Re: planning a trip

Outdoors America in Ok city used to be a pretty good place. Haven't been in probably 10 yrs. It's just a mile or two off 40 on the west side of Ok city. Can't remember the road name. It's the same road as the exit, just drive straight and it will be on the left. There's another one in a little strip...

Mike, check on Gunblast I think in the archives. They've got a review of I think that exact rifle. They seemed to like it.

Re: Still can't kill the B-52

That picture reminds me of the old joke we used to tell about the F-16 jock flying against the 52 in an exercise. He was showing off accelerating past the old Buff, doing loops around him asking over the radio, "can you do that?", the Buff driver calmly comes over the radio and says, "...

Flew "D"s and "H"s out of Carswell from '77 through '84. Spent a lot of hours looking bassackwards out of the D's. They are indeed a great airplane and have a lot of memories of mine.

There's Webers in Temple, McBrides in Austin, and in Waco there's Unique Guns, Praco, Fun Guns. Waco is about 30 mi. N of Temple and Austin is probably 50 or so S. Ought to be able to find one at one of those.

Just a thought, can't you cut out a small square of say 1/8 in. steel to match the size of the Williams, blue it and D&T two holes to match the messed up ones and then D&T an additional two in the correct place and mount it that way? Adjust your windage to compensate for the additional 1/8 i...

Reloading supplies

Hey guys
It appears that there was a big dump of powder and primers onto the internet last night. Things I haven't found for awhile so if you're in the market, you might want to check your favorites supply houses and see what they have.

Not quite that bad, the CEO is just "asking" gun owners not to bring them in but they are still willing to follow whatever the law is at whichever Starbucks you happen to be at. Not to say that a ban isn't coming because I'm sure that his statement won't placate the Libs who can't hold the...

Just got one called a "Ninja". Not cheap but if you look around you can find them under 100. Just make sure to read the add to see if it is brand new or refurb or used. Seems to work great. I think you could probably puree a moose if you wanted. Then you could have a moose mousse.

FWIW I bought my son a L/H Tikka in 308 a number of years ago and it remains his favorite and most accurate rifle. Very smooth action.

Just read somewhere about the 95's being very popular in Canada and large numbers of them going up there. And most of them were in 303 British. Maybe the ones headed North had a different config?

Thought I'd jump in on this as no one else mentioned it. But....if I were down to 1, I think I'd pick an 1895...preferably in 30-40 but an '06 would probably be a little more practical.

OT First post and humor and politics

I've been around watching and reading for about a year or so, thought I'd say hello and maybe post this cartoon I got this morning. Made me laugh.

Ok, so maybe no humor or politics unless someone can tell me how to attach or imbed the cartoon I have.

In any case, Hello to all.
