Henry Recoil pads

I was browsing on Henry's site today and noticed that the rubber recoil pads on the rifles looked really thick. One thing that has always kept me from more seriously considering a Henry is the long length of pull (14"). I prefer 13 1/4" - 13 1/2" LOP, and was thinking that removing the recoil pad mi...

WTB/WTT in VA Ruger blackhawk rear sight insert - GOT ONE!

Hey guys, I bought a ruger blackhawk bisley .45 colt w/ 7.5" barrel probably around 10 years ago, maybe a little less. at some point I thought it would be a good idea to try out the one ragged hole rear sight insert, then more recently, I tried out a red dot sight on it, but didn't like that either....

Congrats on the 32WS!

I also load for it with IMR 3031 and Hornady 170gr. I got within 40fps of factory winchester ammo with a slightly less than max load of 3031 and had good accuracy.

Hi all, I'm definitely not TRYING to hot rod. This was my starting load and it was already at 3000fps, and I was just a little confused about why it was that high. I used the LEE load data for 87grain jacketed bullet and 3031 powder. it lists OAL as 2.450. and says velocity for 34 grains should be 3...

250-3000 loads faster than expected

Hi all. I FINALLY got a chance to shoot the 250 savage 99 I picked up last year. I had loaded up some 87 grain sierras over 32-34gr. 3031 powder in 1/2 gr. increments. However, I never made it past 32 grains because the chrony read an average of 2984 for 8 rounds - which I'm pretty sure is supposed ...

Yes, the RWS 48 is a really great gun. Its the only springer that I recommend to anyone wanting to get started with airguns. Very accurate, very powerful (but very heavy). Although actually there are a couple german beeman/weihrauch models that would be awesome as well.
