El Paso Saddlery makes the tanker holsters. Will probably be picking one up for my Glock 19 in a few months. Here is a link . . . http://www.epsaddlery.com/pc-154-14-194 ... rrels.aspx They also make one for longer barreled models if you need it.

Depends on what style you want but as far as manufacturer goes El Paso Saddlery, De Santis or Galco would all be good choices.

Good shootin. Is that a 22mag, 17HMR or 22LR? Also, just out of curiosity is there any market for fox pelts over there? I figure if there is, at the rate your shooting them it should at least help you pay for your ammo.

Have been thinking of getting an M1 Carbine to play with and maybe for a home defense gun at some point (while I am comfortable with and carry an AR carbine on duty I figured the M1 would have less muzzle blast inside a room). I think your 357 carbine will work well but I would throw in a revolver (3" barrel with external hammer comes to mind). Same cailber but doesnt way much and could be useful for times when the rifle has been set down or when going to get water and doing camp chores .

If he doesn't want to get a new gun stick with what you got and go with a minimum of 158 grain load.
