That is a lot of meat. Would love to get in on something like that. We have virtually no crops where I have my place, all cattle and timber. Deer are plentiful but we are over run with turkeys most years. We eat every scrap of deer , but could always use one more it seems.

The last class I attended with my oldest son, the instructor had a JC Higgins bolt shotgun and kept telling the class it was a rifle. When someone pointed out the lack of a rear sight, the instructor said it must have been "knocked off". This was about 8-10 years ago.

Whitetail tenderloins.Whitetail fresh liver n' onions. Squirrel. Frog legs-green or bull. Morel mushrooms. I know they aren't game but we do hunt them. Fish wise it's Crappie,Bluegill, Flathead cat or Channel cat. Actually I love it all. It's hard to pick a favorite.

Ollogger, I've packed a few out with buddies like that but never in the snow. It is a challenge at times, requiring the guy in the back to be in step with the guy in front, kind of like marching. It is easier with three guys, one to pack the rifles.
