Nath, my .357 Legacy will shoot 2 to 3 inch groups all day at 100 yards.I could probably get it tighter with a better trigger.I shoot 140 grain and 158 grain XTP's in mine with Li'l Gun and 296 all using small rifle primers.I have not had time to chrono mine but I would be willing to bet I am approa...

If you are interested in collecting quartz crystals or various phosphates Arkansas is the place.

Yes it does appear to be worked and chalcedony makes great "flint" tools. That notch in the center appears to be the center of the geode and looks to be very small quartz crystals. The waxy luster and conchoidal fracture pretty much says it is chalcedony. It is definitely a keeper! Hobie, I a...

Looks like a piece of chalcedony.I can't see any banding in the rock.if there is banding present it is an agate.Chalcedony and agates are considered a semi- precious gemstone, especially if colored nice.

As for a source for nitrobenzene I am not sure. Many companies buy the stuff by the drum and I think some people use it as a fuel mix in the place of nitromethane.Maybe someone here with company ties could get a small sample.
