Heard about this on a muzzleloading forum I frequent. As there are many here who obviously have a place for black powder in their lives, I thought I would post this. I never bought anything with TDC on it that was not top-drawer. https://www.cressfuneralservice.com/obituaries/tedd-cash?fbclid=IwAR2b...

Consider the Crosman Vantage, $113.00 from Pyramyd Air. There is a simple and elegant fix for the miserable trigger, which I performed on mine and it made a huge difference.

Someone on Find-a-Grave had put out a request for a photo of the grave of "Infant Son Robertson," 8 May 1929- 11 May 1929. He was buried in a small cemetery at the locality of Sardis, which is just a few miles west of Roby, among the gently rolling cotton fields of Fisher County, Texas. Th...

Re: Took the 1851 Navy to the Range this morning ...

While I always feel a little guilty using 777 (vs. a LOT guilty using Pyrodreck) instead of real black, it does typically improve velocity and energy, it is easily cleaned up and it doesn't leave smelling faintly of rotted eggs for the rest of the day. It's a bit safer to store around the house, too.

Grafs has extended its no-hazmat offer through September 21 -- but you have to order $150 or more worth of powder/primers. I will confirm that percussion caps qualify as well and if so, will order in some Swiss, some Triple Seven and some caps in the morning.

Will, I bet those'll work. Nice job on the hull vise, too -- and hardwood instead of my junk softwood 2x4.
I realized that with the roll crimper mounted in the drill press, I need to set a depth adjustment, as relying on feel alone led to inconsistent crimps and in one case, a ruined shell.
