I started on the old one back in 2004. It had been around for awhile at that time. Paco used to get on quite regularly but hasn't been on this one in a long while I know his wife was suffering some health issues and he isn't a young man either. Hobbie or one of the others can fill in more of the gap...

I throw my de-primed brass in the dish washer in the silverware containers the throw them in the oven till dry. That was my routine for years now I have a tumbler that I use after the trip though the dishwasher.

Lube that bad boy up till it is sloppy. That is the number one thing I have learned in 19 years of having to shoot one for a living. Unless it is dust storm conditions that bolt needs to be wet.

looking for a bullet
Was wondering if any of you all could help me out. I am looking for a source for Saeco .459 480gr semi-spitzer. I would like to buy 50 count to do some testing with my rolling block and it archaic 1:22 twist. It should work according to some of the twist calculators out there. Thanks folks.

My Stevens 200 in .223 loaded with 69gr Sierra match kings with LC 09 neck sized brass. Its the only one I have that will do it. The rest of my long guns are 1-2 inches at 100.

Dont know what you have for craft stores on your side of the pond. But a slip on sling like the ones folks use on muzzle loaders would work. Would be an easy thing to make with a belt blank.

Fill the primer pocket with a pencil eraser trimmed to fit. Lasts a long time and is easy and cheap to replace when it does wear out.
