Re: The new US Military Rifle...
The Army has been talking about changing rifles since early 2000s, almost as long as they have been talking about changing their Physical Fitness Program. I honestly suspect they will come out with yet another camo pattern for their uniforms before they ever fix their Fitness Program or push a stand...

The Lacy Act prohibits the sale of wild game. I am guessing that with AXIS Deer being listed as an Invasive Species is how they work around it. Also I would expect that they are not indigenous to Hawaii and would fall more into the exotic game category. Personally, I do not see an issue with it bein...

My Dad bought a Marlin 1894 .44 mag from an older man at First Monday in Canton TX back in the early 90s for $125. It came with the first box of shells he bought for it with only 3 missing, the recoil was too much for him. After my dad shot it, he gave it to me, he shot it twice. Definitely one gun ...

When you go to the hodgdon site, WSF does not even show as an option for any weight of .44 Special Bullet. I prefer to use W244 as it sits right next to Unique on the Powder Burn Rate Chart. That is only because I have not seen another can of Unique since I bought my last one.

Years ago when I was involved in reenactments, they held required safety briefs. One of the cardinal rules as that you never point the gun directly at someone. You elevate or aim to the side of them. I am sure even Hollywood would have rules in place that would have prevented this.

I dont need a video. My first rifle was a 1979 Marlin 336 in 30-30. It has worked every time and I dont have to buy premium bullets that cost you an arm and leg. It does it with Federal, Winchester, or Remington 150 or 170 grain promotional ammo.

As much as I love my 30-30, I dont think it would be my first choice if I had to stretch it over 225 yards. I have good optics on my AR and would feel very comfortable out to 400 and even to 500 depending on the scenario. As far as reloads go, but the side loading gate is pretty handy as well.
