Re: When do you need to add trailer brakes..?
Texas requires trailer brakes at 4500 # total trailer weight. I have a trailer that weights 1500# curb weight (tare), it has a brake axle on it but I have not added the sending unit to my vehicle. I prefer to have a trailer brake anytime I get over 2500# especially if it will be at highway speeds. I...

I am definitely getting excited for Deer Season. Just picked up this Weatherby Vanguard with Spiral Fluted #3 barrel contour in .308 to be my new deer rifle. I put 6 rounds in 1" at just less than 100 yards with FED 150 and WIN 180 grain. With Scope and Sling it is still right at 9 lbs and only...

I purchased a M1 Garand through CMP several years back. The first thing I learned was they are expensive to shoot. It is way too much fun to blast through the 8 rounds for that ICONIC PING at the end. Fortunately, I received a very desirable Serial # Range made in DEC of 41. When I decided to sell, ...

Never had any issues with Titegroup. 231, 244 or CFE Pistol. My suggestion is to focus on the power level of the load you are wanting and have a good cleaning kit and tumbler for your brass.

I had a yellow lab that I took shooting once. I shot a Model 44 Mosin Nagant. I left the door open on my truck and immediately upon my first shot she ran back to my truck and took a huge SH!7 on the front seat.

I use CCW SAFE. They have several plans available.
I just noticed they have a House of Worship Volunteer Plan.
https://ccwsafe.com/product/vst/
I will also add that you get locked in at the rate of your initial membership provided you do not miss a renewal. I still pay $149 a year.

I picked up a S&W Shield EZ (2.0) in 9mm. We both shoot it well and it has good features and ergonomics. However, I would not consider it a pocket pistol it is quite a bit larger than my S&W 442.

Even with the reduced velocity it still had full expansion. It did not penetrate both sides but the slug was found caught in the hide on the opposite side. No tracking was involved.

I think some may give deer a little more credit than they deserve. I recall years back when we had several Elk that were shot and killed (illegally) by a man with a 9mm pistol. I also recall my grandfather telling me how back in the depression he used CUTT SHELLS from a 20 ga to shoot deer. I think ...
