Re: Making Sausage Recipes
I don't have any recipes as of yet to post. I am going to try a few different kits though. I have used this sausage mix in the past to make breakfast sausage and it is one of the best I have ever had, used to make it for Christmas morning: http://www.agway.com/catalog/home_and_garden/canning_and_sup...

I just bought a new grinder and want to make some sausage. Any good places to buy casings and mixes? I don't have my smoker set up anymore so i will stick to non-smoked recipes for now. Hi Joe, I understand what you want now, stomper loads, 350 gr hard cast out of a 45 colt rifle load. I don't have any experience loading 350gr in 45colt, but have loaded quite a few in 454, 360 gr actually. Looking at all the reloading books I have, none have anything for 350gr in 45 colt, Rugar or ...

Hi Joe, I use H110/W296 in my 44mag and 454, I have loaded some for my Ruger 45, but they are all max loads. I use LPM primers, brand doesn't matter, I picked up some Wolf LPM and they work fine also. Why waste your money on W296/H110? I found 2400 to be the best all around powder and I can load up ...

abcollector,
I bought a bunch of the Wolf brand primers about 2 years ago, (and am glad I did!), they seem to be pretty good. I would wait if you can for CCI or Winchester, but if you need some now they would be ok. I see the prices are 11-12 dollars more per 1000, from when I bought them.

Nice Hungarian 91/30, didn't know they were rare..................
The Finn's hands down are the nicest of the Mosin Nagant rifles.
I like the M91 over the M91/30 they just seem to shoot so much better.

I am in agreement with the 30-06 bolt. The availability of ammo and of different weights is the top reason and also the amount of selection of rifles chambered for it. But if only one gun, then I would go with the 9.3x62mm built on the 98 action or the new CZ offering. Factory ammo is fairly easy to...

Wolf is fine for AK & SKS's, the lacquer on the cases will build up in the chamber and will need to be cleaned out if shooting brass cases. The lacquer on the steel case helps to keep the case from shifting back, as the steel will not expand as the brass cases do, and seal the chamber. My Olympi...
