My Father's brother was a 21 yr old Marine pilot. He flew an F4U Corsair in the Pacific theater. Still out there.
When I was born, they named me after him. I try to remember that and make sure I don't do anything that would bring dishonor on his name.

Has not the .38 special in a HAND GUN worked for the police for many years??? No...not really. It was issued for many years....that doesn't mean it worked well. A lot of factors go into the process of choosing a sidearm for law enforcement. Effectiveness has historically not been high on the list.

I have some experience hunting large animals that can kill you.

My .250/3000 M-99 isn't a carbine, but it was manufactured in 1941. I have carefully verified that it's a 1:14 twist.
I've had no issues with Winchester 100 gn. Silvertip factory ammo. I also load my own with 100 gn PSP bullets. Both have worked well on Whitetail.
