My experience has been that it works well if you read and follow the directions. No need to clean it off afterwards.
But my revolver shooting is 38 special and 357 where I use carbide dies. No case lube needed.

I have seen strange numbers from my chronograph on clear bright blue sky days. Seems to work more consistently when it is overcast for some reason.

It is electronic .......what could possibly go wrong?

I used them a lot when I was younger .........never had a primer go off.

They were a great introduction to reloading for a youngster; and were affordable.

I have been shooting the AR more lately than the 30-30, typically at hogs. I can reload the AR rounds since they use small rifle primers, which have become available again. Large rifle primers for the 30-30 are still not available.

I have a Win 94 that was manufactured in 1906. I replaced the damaged front sight with a highly visible fiber optic sight. Not historically correct, but I am really pleased with the functionality.

Reloading is just one of the many skillsets that I think are important to have in your personal toolbox. My father reloaded back in the 60s and I picked it up as a kid. Scavenging wheel weights was an enjoyable part of the process for. I have not had to sweat out ammo shortages as long as my compone...

The lever on my old Interarms Rossi is only about one sixteenth of an inch away from the stock when closed.
I would not consider a half inch off the stock to be normal or desirable.

I have found that whacking them with the flat of a shovel is 100% effective.

After one whack, you can use the shovel to separate the head from the body.

I have a 357 SAA that shoots left also. It came from the factory with the front sight slightly left of top dead center already, so turning the barrel doesn't appear to be an option.

It must have been manufactured on a Monday morning or a Friday afternoon.

Since you should always have an even number of rifles, I suggest the fourth should be a rimfire 22 (lever action of course).

I know that it can be done, but a lot may depend on the particular cemetery and exactly how the casket was buried in the plot. Cremains do not generally have to be buried nearly as deep as a casket, so there may be some leeway there. You would need to contact the director of the particular cemetery ...
